It’s our tradition to spend New Year’s Eve in the British Virgin Islands, where the holiday is dubbed “Old Year’s Night.” This year we sailed to Anegada where we spent two nights anchored just off the mooring field near the ferry dock. Here are some favorite moments ushering out 2014.
- The beach at Pomato Point.
- Watching a kite boarder come out of the water at Cow Wreck Beach.
- Lunch at Cow Wreck Beach.
- A local girl shimmies up a pole and onto the roof at the Anegada Reef Hotel.
- Preparing the lobster dinner at the Anegada Reef Hotel.
- The last sunset of 2014, from Anegada Reef Hotel.
